It's Very Clear Mobile Is Here

Does Your Website Support Tablet and Mobile Devices?

If you're considering building a new web site for your business or an upgrade to your existing web site, one thing is for certain - your site will be accessed by potential clients from their phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop devices.  Mobile and tablet devices are no longer the exception - they're the norm.  Your potential clients expect - and will soon demand - that your information, products and services are available to them, regardless of the device they are using.

Mobile and tablet devices are no longer the exception - they're the norm.

Case Study: Ultra-Pure Oils

Recently, Ultra-Pure Oils owner Ken Saul wanted to make his site more accessible to his clients who wanted to purchase his products from their mobile phones and tablets.  Although his previous site certainly served up to mobile and tablet devices, the experience was not ideal. On mobile and tablet devices, font sizes scaled to miniscule proprotions, content was scrunched, and his products were not showcased in the best possible way.

Fortunately, ProWorks has been working in this space for a little while and although there's still much more to learn, we were able to implement a responsive web solution that enabled his clients to have a great experience regardless of their device:

Step 1 - Make it Look Great on the Desktop

Step 2 - Make it Look Great on a Tablet (iPad, Nexus, and others)

Step 3 - Make it Look Great on a Smart Phone (iPad, Windows, Android)

Conclusion

At ProWorks, building a website these days is much more than just the desktop.  Building for mobile and tablets are important considerations - we believe pretty strongly that it's really a "must have" feature when designing or upgrading your site these days.  That's why most of our new sites have a mobile and tablet design aspect in mind from the get go.

If you own an existing business site, upgrading it to incorporate mobile and tablet features may be exactly what you need to reach an even wider audience.  Contact us for a free consultation!
