Hacktoberfest 2020
It's October, and that can only mean one thing: Hacktoberfest! Hacktoberfest is an annual event hosted by DigitalOcean and DEV.to to promote collaboration on open source projects. Umbraco participates with their own take on the widely popular event with free Umbraco-themed t-shirts for contributors. As an Umbraco Gold Partner, ProWorks is proud to host an Umbraco-focused hack-a-thon event this year on Friday, October 23rd to encourage community participation and to help those who may be new to Umbraco, or even new to open source, feel welcome and know how to contribute.
Who's Invited?
This event is open to everyone, both coders and those who might operate at a "higher level". Umbraco's code base, as well as the user and developer documentation, are open source and pull requests (PRs) to any of these count as contributions to the project. In addition to the main Umbraco CMS project, they also are counting contributions to any of their project hosted on GitHub.
What's the Schedule?
The event will happen on Friday, October 23rd between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. ProWorks is based in Corvallis, Oregon, and so all times listed are in Pacific Time.
